It was only after I asked my Mum to take a picture of my hair for my Frizz ease blog post did I notice the state of my hair! I like my hair long so dont pass much notice of the length of it and I am quite hesitant to cut it incase the hair dresser gets a little too scissor happy. This was a bad decision as you can see from the above picture, this lead to the end of my hair being a total mess which entailed me getting approximately 4inches cut off! I also got my hair razored as it is really thick and this helps take some weight out of it for me. I am really happy with my cut and have learnt a valuable lesson don't leave it so long between hair cuts!
I am devastated!! Today my beloved arm candy Micheal Kors MK5161 watch broke!! I thought I write as post about this as this is not the first time for this to happen and also a lot of people comment on my Micheal Kors watch so I wanted to let you guys know what can happen and also enquire have any of you experienced this with your watches?
I bought my watch from the Watch Shop in October 2010 for £300. Yes £300 and it has broken twice!! It first broke in December 2010 after only having it for 2 months. One evening it simple fell off my wrist when I was watching TV. Thinking it would only be a simple repair and that my warranty said the strap was not included in the warranty. I brought it into my local jeweler who informed me that he would not fix it as the watch strap in ceramic and he could not fix the broken link, but he kindly informed me that I should return it to Micheal Kors as it was poor workman ship and that my watch was in perfect condition (had never been dropped or abused) so it should be covered under warranty.
The next day I contacted the Watch Shop who were amazing! They gave me all the information I needed and suggested I send it back to Micheal Kors. So I shipped my watch off by registered post and about 3 weeks later received my watch repaired free of charge. The service from Micheal Kors and the Watch Shop could not have been better.
Just yesterday the same fault appeared again and it fell off my wrist while I was out shopping which resulted in a tiny scratch on the face. I am going to sent it back to Micheal Kors again as it is the same as the original fault and I have never dropped my watch or damaged it in any way that it could break like this. For £300 I would expect the watch to last more than 18months. I just hope they will repair as it is my favourite watch and would be devestated if it would not be repaired and I really don't want to change to a different watch.
Have you guys experience any faults like this? What did you do? Is it the ceramic straps that are more prone to breaking?
Onken Whole Grain Peach Yogurt - I have been addicted to this stuff this month! I am trying to cut down on the amount of sugar I consume (yet chocolate features in my favourites so I am not entirely succeeding) and this has been my treat instead. I still require some chocolate fixes but this definitely helps reduce the amount of chocolate I eat.
Chanel Mystic Eyes - I have been using this for the entire month of March. I just use the silver (bottom left) colour all over the lid then blend the soft brown (bottom right) into my crease and for some reason this combination really make my green eyes pop.
Lindt Chocolate - This really symbolizes Easter! I adore Easter Egg chocolate and am ashamed to admit I have already managed to eat a Flake easter egg in March. Yummy!
Kindle - I adore reading but as I am studying I don't always get the time to read. But lately I have forced myself to read each night in order to relax more before going to sleep. I have just finished Before I Go To Sleep By S.J Watson, which was slow to start but I enjoyed it. Now I am going to start Catching Fire the 2nd Hunger Games book.
Smashbox Blush Rush Paradise - I bought this blush in duty free last year and I have use it nearly every day since which is shocking considering the amount of blushes I own. This gives me a lovely natural healthy flush to my cheeks.
Max Factor Miracle Touch Warm Almond - I am kind of cheating putting this into my favourites as I only bought it in the last week of March. But I love it!! I have really really dry skin and usually always have to stick to liquid foundations which is a pain when you have to touch up throughout the day so I regularly look out for compact foundation but they tend to make my skin flakey and gives me a caked on appearance. This applies like a dream and makes my skin look flawless when reapplied throughout the day.
Have you found any holy grail products this month? Let in know in the comments. I love trying out new products xxx
This is my Pandora bracelet so far. I recieved it for my birthday in 2010. I currently have 16 charms on it and adore it as most of the charms tell a story and bring back memories. I tend to wear it on a daily basis.
The first glass charm in this picture I bought myself when I was on a road trip in Northern Ireland. This was one of the first charms on my Pandora and it started the colour theme for my bracelet.
My mum bought me the next diamond charm as a Christmas present.
I received the suitcase charm as a present when I was going on holidays to Portugal in 2011.
I also received the horse shoe charm for my birthday as I had 2 horses when I was younger and I adore horse riding.
Next up is another glass charm I honestly can not remember where I got this one from so I assume I bought it myself.
My mum once again bought me the next charm. She has me spoilt!
My brother bought me the present charm for my birthday in 2011.
I received the mother of pearl charm as a birthday gift from a friend. This is one of my favourite charms.
I received the snowflake charm as a Christmas gift from a friend in 2011.
My parents bought my the graduation charm when I graduated college last summer.
My aunty bought my the cupcake charm last summer when we took park in a baking competition.
My mum bought me the next charm for my birthday last year.
And finally I bought the last charm myself with them 1st charm when I was on a shopping trip in Northern Ireland.
I haven't bought any charms in a while as Pandora have recently increased their prices a little to much for my liking. But I do have my eye on the rose charm and the apple charm but I rather receive them as gift as then you tend to remember them.
Do you have a Pandora or charm bracelet? Do your's hold any nice stories/sentiments? :) Let me know in the comments. Or if you have a similar post or would like to make one let me know as I would love to read it.
