New Years Resolutions: 2013

Eat Healthy
I am a really picky eater and will always choose chocolate over any food with nutritional value. My aim this year is this make more healthy choices and try and eat three balances meals a day. I hope by doing this I will have more energy and feel better about myself. I am going to eat healthy all week and have a treat day on a Saturday. I know if I deprive myself entirely I will fall off the wagon mid January.

Be More Positive
I can be pretty negative at times and feel sorry for myself when I having a difficult time. I am going to try and remain positive and be gratefully for all the things I have.

 Stuff I Do To Make Myself Feel Better : Admit it, sometimes we all get so down that we have a hard time motivating. It happens to the best of us. When sadness hit you hard, it can be really debilitating. Without trying to oversimplify what might be a very complicated emotional situation (all due respect to your feelings), I’d like to suggest a couple of cheap pick-me-ups, for those times when you just don’t have the luxury of lying in bed all day with a box of tissues, watching old tearjerker movies.

Make time for myself
This one should really be at the top of my list. My college schedule is grueling this year and I keep getting extremely stressed. I want to ensure this doesn't happen this year and that I actually take time to relax and take care of myself. This included simple things such as painting my nails, applying fake tan just little measures to make myself feel better.

Drink more water 
I always forget to drink or will just have cups of tea throughout the day! It is ridiculous. It's not that I don't like water or anything I just do not think about it. At night time I tend to get pretty thirsty which goes to show I need to keep hydrated. I have been drinking 2L a day lately and surprising I don't even find it a challenge. I am hoping it will help my concentration in college and also my skin will benefit from it.

What are your new years resolutions or do you bother making any? I will update you in February with how I am getting on. Hopefully that will be motivation enough to keep myself on track.
